This page explains how Naga Advocates uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. You can manage your preferences at any time using the controls below. For questions, please write to [email protected].
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help websites remember your preferences and function correctly. They do not carry viruses or access personal files on your device.
We use cookies to provide a working website, understand how it is used (with your permission), and remember choices you have made. You can always change your preferences below.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Always active
These are required for the website to work. They manage your cookie consent preference and basic session continuity. They cannot be disabled. No personal data is collected beyond what is strictly necessary.
Analytics Cookies
These help us understand how visitors use our website — which pages are visited most often and where people encounter difficulty. The data is used in aggregated, anonymised form to improve the site. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.
Marketing Cookies
These are used to show content or advertisements that may be relevant to you. We do not currently run advertising campaigns, but this category covers any third-party tracking technologies that may be added in future. You may disable this category at any time.
Preference Cookies
These remember choices you have made on the website — such as language or display settings — so you do not need to set them again on each visit.
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our website may be set by third-party services. These are subject to their own privacy and cookie policies, which we cannot control:
- Google Analytics — anonymised website usage statistics (analytics category). Google Privacy Policy
- Google Maps — embedded map on our homepage for location display. This may set a session cookie from Google.
Cookie Duration
| Type | Behaviour | Typical Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookies | Deleted when you close your browser | Until session ends |
| Persistent (essential) | Remain after browser is closed | Up to 12 months |
| Persistent (analytics) | Track returning visitors across sessions | Up to 2 years |
| Persistent (marketing) | Used for ad relevance | Up to 90 days |
